I used sugar veil to make lace and airbrused black. The stripes were handpainted. :)

This cake was the second place on Connecticut Cake Competition (intermediate division) It has Sugarveil, ribbon insertion, edible gems, diamond embossing, crimping, gumpaste flowers and airbrushed pearl sheen

This is my first pillow cake for my niece's birthday! It was inspired by Andrea Sullivan's cakes (I love her work!)
This is my first topsy turvy. I spent 5 hours making McQueen and Mater with Gumpaste, when I was putting on the cake McQueen broke in so many pieces that I couldn't fix it... In the end of the story I had to put toys on top of it. The good part is that it was for my son's birthday, so the client (me) didn't complaint! heheheheh
I used Cricut Cake and piping gel. :)
