Vanilla cake covered in buttercream and then covered in fondant. I didn't achieve the gold colour I had hoped for in the topper/circles - I used Gold lustre dust on top of ivory fondant - anyone have a tip for getting a truer gold?! Perhaps a different colour fondant under the lustre dust?

This cake was based off of a beautiful eeyore cake photo (found on cc) sent to me by the lady I made this for (sorry, I don't know the source). This was my first attempt using rice krispies (eeyore); learned a few things for next time ;0) Eeyore is covered with fondant.

Baked this in two different size bowls, one bowl was flat on the bottom, so I used another smaller round-bottom bowl for the very top of the hat. I also used a 6" round pan for added height for the bottom layer. It was surprisingly easy! A successful experiment!
Two chocolate 6" rounds, with scraps from another cake to make the feather tips....iced with buttercream and then white fondant to cover, and red fondant to make the logo.
Signs are white chocolate with painted fondant attached.

Construction hat is a 4" round, cut into a dome. Fondant covered cake, and fondant needle nose pliers and a multimeter; the man retired from Newfoundland Hydro.
