This a a cake I made for a Delaware Hayes Graduate. She really didn't want the school colors (orange and black) but decided to go a head with them. She wasn't fond of orange but I think I incorporated it quite well with the flowers. All is edible with exception of tassel on cap and ribbon around the diploma.

This is a birthday cake for my daughter. She had a sleepover for 13 girls. I made each girl that came to the party. It was a big hit! This was my first attempt of making people. I am very thankful to this website as I got a lot of my ideas from here. Thank you to all of you who give me inspiration daily. I could not do it without you. Unfortunately, I have to make all of my cakes with my buttercream icing because my husband and kids will not eat anything else. :) I am learning, slowly but surely to get the buttercream smoother each time I make a cake. This one I could not refrigerate after icing it because it was too big to put in my frig, so I could not smooth it as I usually do.
