This cake was requested to have "lots of pink" and "be very girly" so this is what I did. The whole cake is buttercream with fondant accents and a gumpaste crown. Then it was blown with shimmer dust. The smash cake has birthday wishes with a gumpaste NO. 1 on it. TFL
In this one I wanted the cake to be plain so it was the backround and not the focus. All the figures are hand made from internet pics i dug up and this client was thrilled as she is a huge Muppet fan.
Mario and Luigi are cut out from fondant as are all the little things from the game. It was fun to make the turtle shell and mushrooms!
First no i did not mess up the spelling, it was a pun intended for my client. this is the first time i ever covered a cake in whipped frosting instead of buttercream. i was surprised with it. i added fondant accents. TFL
