Egyptian Pyramid

This was the cake I made for our church's Egyptian themed Vacation Bible School. It was covered with buttercream and "sand". The "sand" was made from Vanilla Wafers that I put through the food processor.

Xbox Controller Cake

This was made for my 3 nephews for their birthday. They loved it ! This one was tough because my left hand was bandaged and splinted from a tendon repair surgery the week prior.

Batman Cake

This was my nephew's 7th birthday cake. He LOVES Batman. I included all the villians on the cake as well. The figures are Fisher Price Imaginex and the jail is made from wooden skewers painted black. Everything else is edible. The batsymbol is black fondant with yellow colorflow. The city scape is made from fondant as well as the jail signs. It took longer than I thought to construct and I almost ran out of time. It was really fun though.

Cobra Cake

This was my son's 5th birthday cake. He loves King Cobras, so for his birthday he wanted a cobra cake. It was lots of planning and a lot of work. He LOVED his cake - so all the time and effort was well worth it. The snake was 9'9" long when we measured all the curves.
