No Saints Cake
This is a red velvet cake, recipe is from here, Susan's best ever red velvet, with crusting cream cheese frosting by Cakeswebake. The frosting didn't crust enough to do the viva method but taste yummy. My hubby is taking it to work tomorrow so not sure how the cake taste. This was the second time using my Cricut Cake. Used Wilton fondant mixed with tylose to make gumpaste for the cutouts and for the border rope I used fondant painted with edible gold glaze.

King Cake
With Mardi Gras in two days I wanted to try to make a King Cake. This was my first time making one and was very pleased how it turned out. Also, my first time baking with yeast. Seemed like it took for forever to rise, I was ready to throw it out and start again, but I waited and all in all I think it turned out better than I thought it would.
