Shoebox birthday cake with gumpaste high heels. This was my first time making gumpaste high heels with gumpaste brooches. I'm very happy with how they turned out. Cake is covered in fondant with zebra striping effect in silver. Other accent pieces made from gumpaste. I really enjoyed making this cake. :-)
This cake was for a friend's daughter's 12th birthday. Her birthday is close to Halloween and she loves The Nightmare Before Christmas movie. The bottom tier is one layer red velvet, pumpkin tier is carved four layer chocolate and the top tier is three layer vanilla. The curve mountain is made of rice cereal covered with fondant. All other details are made from fondant. The birthday girl found her cake to be creepily fantastic!
This 40th birthday cake was a CrossFit theme. The bottom cake was carved to be a tractor tire. This was set upon a fondant faux wood cake board to look like the gym floor. The top cake was carved to be a kettlebell. A fondant rope drapes across the tire.
This cake was for my mother's 60th birthday party. Giraffe print on bottom tier, paisley middle tier and quilted effect on top tier. Gumpaste calla lilies as cake topper. "60" were gumpaste numbers.
I made this cake for my nephew's 9th birthday. Theme was LEGO Batman. The gray manhole covers housed shot glasses that were inserted into the bottom tier. Dry ice and water was put into the shot glasses to create fog to make the overall cake more mysterious looking. It was a hit with my nephew and the other little boys!

I made this cake for my daughter's second birthday. It was my first topsy turvy cake and was a Jack's Big Music Show theme. I placed the cake on a faux fondant cake board, which was my first time making as well. I rushed the cake board though, so I know it could have been better.
