my first attempt drawing a character using chocolate (Stella and butterflies). Cake is vanilla choco chip with dark choco ganache. cupcakes are butterless moist chocolate with cream cheese frosting. I'm lucky only one butterfly wing broke and the rest made it to the party.

I made this cake for my godson's 1st birthday party. The biggest/heaviest cake I ever made. Big Bird is Vanilla choco chip, Elmo is Choco Mud cake and Cookie Monster is moist chocolate cake, all are decorated with vanilla buttercream frosting. Oscar and all other heads are made of styrofoam covered in Royal Icing.Cake is surrounded by sesame street cupcakes, chocolate-covered cookies, cake pops of the same theme and of course who would forget Cookie Monster's favorite - chocolate chip cookies. 2 nights with few hours of sleep - all paid off. Although I envisioned this cake differently (should have been full body) I'm still glad on how they turned out. Everyone on the party loved this cake!!
