This cake was done for a principal that loves candy. Her staff wanted rock candy on the cake since she loved it. Bottom is choc mocha w/ganache filling, middle is pink champagne w/cream filling, top is lemon w/lemon BC. The yellow separaters are styrofoam. TFL!

This is the cake I made for my grandson's first birthday. Thanks to all the beautiful cake ideas here on CC. I had so much fun! Since I had to travel, I opted to do the cat head and hat in dummy cakes and assemble at party. 10" white cake with cookies & creme filling, fondant accents. Thing 1 & 2 on top of hat were fondant also. TFL!
This cake was for a surprise 18th birthday party. The young man was leaving for Costa Rica in the coming weeks to study abroad. His mother wanted to tie together his love of fishing and his trip. It was a huge hit and he was very surprised. Thanks to all the waterfall cakes on CC that inspired me. Bottom layer chocolate with chocolate and caramel filling and top was Pina Coloda with pineapple filling. TFL!
Happy New Year Times Square style. Inspiration was taken from mbpbrighteyes. Thanks a million. This was a last minute cake and they wanted it to be unique. So my DH helped me make a Times Square Ball. Although it's hard to see here, the ball has mini lights in it with a battery powered switch underneath the cake stand. It was a bit of a challenge at first but the result was fabulous! Bottom cake is marble with carmel chocolate truffle and the top is white with sweet Italian creme filling. Buttercream with fondant accents. TFL!
