A friend asked me to make cuppies with little piggys as a topper. These are chocolate moist cupcakes iced with boiled icing and the cute lil piggys were made out of marshmallow fondant. I love the colors, they were just the perfect match.....Though it was time consuming, making all the details but it was worth it! I enjoyed doing it, ill probably make tiny fondant figure again!
a friend requested me to make a welcome home cake for her hubby coming from overseas work...her idea was a hard hat. and this is my first time to make a 3D shaped fondant cake... it came out really well.... and they liked it...I never thought i could make one like this. it was easier than I thought. this is a chocolate moist cake shaped into hard hat and covered with marshmallow fondant....to get the realistic color of the hard hat I combined yellow and a bit of orange tinge gel type coloring...
My hubby and I finally decided to throw a Pirate Party to our 2nd son's 1st Birthday! so i make him a 2 tier choco moist fondant cake with butter cream filling...with a Baby Pirate as a topper.... I also made Pirate cupcakes and Pirate cookies to match the theme. It turned out great! The kids and kids at heart loved them... all gone!
