I used my 8" cake rounds to make these. Nestle pre-made dough and baked for 25 mins, used parchment paper and greased the pan. The girls loved them. Thanks CC people for your help!
Wiltonâs Sweetheat pan. Cake is CMD Basic Buttermilk Devilâs food with Bavarian filling. Icing is CMD White Chocolate frosting. Decoration is Indydebiâs icing. We had a snow day here yesterday so made a cake for my anniversary this Fri. Also needed to practice. Hadnât been decorating for a while.
My first cake from second week of class. This is my first time with a character cake pan. Cake is WASC and icing is class icing. Had to finish at home and have a few gaps. It turned out cute and I am satisfied. Can't wait until next week.
9" round. Made this for a guy at my work for his wife BD very last minute as I am walking out the door. I used my chocolate rose mold for the floweres and did a chocolate transfer for the HB. I had to make the frosting twice because I forgot to sift the coco.
This is 13x9x2 1 layer. Daughter wanted for her BD. I did the bamboo and chinese writing with stencil and food coloring. Daughter did the HB part. Shell border.
This is my 40th birthday cake. I got some inspiration from Lazy_Susan on the colors. At first I was just going to do the roses then I said oh heck and did the rest of the squiggles, etc. I also was trying the reverse shell on top border regular shell bottom border. I still need more practice. Had fun! 9 yellow cake with chocolate BC and vanilla pudding filling.
This is a practice cake. I got the saying from my sons favorite movie Napoleon Dynamite. It is a 9 yellow cake with chocolate and vanilla buttercream--filling also BC. Bottom shell border with stars, top border is stars with smaller stars. Combed sides.
My daughter I signed up for a cookie bouquet class with my Wilton instructor after my cake classes. We had fun. I know now what to do to make them better. This is the one and only so far. I have done the NF without sticks since then.
Did these chocolate transfers back in Jan 06 for DH birthday. Used Wilton and Guittard melts, Wilton candy colors. This was a first for me and I had fun making. I need more practice. Thanks Squirrely Cakes for the inspiration.
8 square is devil food, icing and filling is butter cream, covered in Wilton fondant. When I got home from class my daughter and I took off the fondant and just ate the cake. Time was short so, I forgot the flowers and the sides of the bow.
10 bottom is yellow cake, 6 top is devil food, icing and filling is butter cream. Flowers are brushed embroidery, shell borders and dots on the sides. Used viva towel method to smooth with the fondant icer.

Everything is done according to the Course 2 final cake. The basketweave is tricky, but got it done. Had to finish at home but had a great time! Can't wait until Course 3.
