Purple, white and gold star themed 21st birthday cake
This was an interesting order! The cake was a for a 2 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. The mother wanted one cake but incorporating 2 (very different) themes. The story book design was the best solution to this dilemma! the characters and elements were hand cut from coloured fondant and "patchworked" onto the the "pages " of the book. I was quite happy with how this turned out!
A Sleeping Beauty themed cake. The cake was a vanilla pound cake with white chocolate buttercream frosting. The design was based on Debbie Brown's version, but I scaled the measurements up to make a larger cake.
This was a Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese frosting. All the characters and accents were made of gumpaste.
