This combines the concept of cake carving, and cake pops into one! The Angry Birds ( infamous smart phone game) were shaped out of chocolate cake and cream cheese frosting, then dipped in candy coating. Details made from fondant and gumpaste were added for a final touch. These were then inserted into the cake itself. The large egg is really a giant cake ball covered with candy coating and decorated with fondant vines and flowers. Check out the detailed nest that I made from gumpaste! Enjoy!
