Doll Cake
This was my first doll cake made with the Wondermold pan. I didn't realize that a full Barbie would not fit in that cake so my hubbie got to do some "surgery" on her. Thankfully it was for my best friend's 2 year old who didn't play with Barbies yet. Everything is buttercream except for the fondant bow and sash.

Las Vegas Wedding Shower
This was my first real experience with fondant and stacked cakes. It was for a couple getting married in Vegas but they had the shower here in town. The sign on top was downloaded and I photoshopped the couples name in and then laminated it. The coins, trees, and dice are all plastic.

Fondant Princess
This was a cake I made for my best friend's 3 year old. I took the design from the 2006 Wilton Yearbook and tweaked it a little. The body is an upside down heart and the head is the Wilton animal crackers pan. Everything is fondant except the crown and the sceptor which were purchased.

Pansy Anniversary Cake
This was a recreation of my brother's wedding cake for his 10th anniversary. Its white cake with raspberry filling and covered in buttercream. The sides are basketweave and the top is cornelli lace. The pansies were store bought royal. The original cake had fresh pansies but we opted for these instead.

Papa Smurf
This is a cut-out cake that I made for a retirement party. I used two square pans so I had two flavors. I drew out a template and cutout the cake and then outlined the design in dark grey buttercream and filled in with buttercream. The bottom border is done with a bag striped with blue and red and filled with white buttercream to get the tri-color effect.
