Sand castle cake made with buttercream and PVC piping and vanilla wafers grinded. The shells were all chocolate and starfish were marshmallows covered in chocolate and graham crackers and candy eyes.

kind of blurry, but got the idea from pinterest. Fondant decorations, apple was Styrofoam wrapped with fondant, inside was white cake with caramel apple filling.
This was my first attempt at the ruffles, not too difficult. I used 1/2 fondant and 1/2 chocolate modeling clay for the ruffles. So much easier to work with.

I got this idea from another cake on here. Mine didnt come out nearly as nice as the one I tried to copy, but for only my 5th cake, I guess not to shabby. My 5 year old even helped me out since Christmas is one of our favorite holidays.
This was my first try at an ice cream cake. I made homemade chocolate peanut butter ice cream and homemade chocolate peanut butter buttercream. I covered the cake with buttercream and made the decorations out of fondant, however next time I will use gumpaste. The hockey sign I just scanned a bumper sticker and then printed it (it wasnt edible). It looked just as good and I didnt have to spend as much money. The cake tasted awesome and my husband was super happy.
I am not the best sculptur, but I made to square cakes, one a 8 in and one a 6 inch and put them opposite each other. I decorate in fondant and gumpaste. This was my first time at gumpaste. It came out pretty good, just wish I could sculpt better.
This was my first cake abd first fondant. I made the whole cake with MMF. The top tier was chocolate cake with heath bar filling, second layer was lemon with lemon curd cream cheese filling and bottom layer was white cake with raspberry mousse filling. I bought a styrofoam J, painted it brown and glued some jewels on it. The cake came out beautiful and tasted yummy!
My son was having a pool party bday so I made a New Orleans Hornets pool. The cake was vanilla with strawberry cheescake filling. I made my own blue piping gel. The cake was decorated in buttercream and fondant details. The hardest for me was making the logo, I am not much of an artist at all.
