Sorry for the bad quality picture. This is a champagne themed cake I made for a cake contest for our YMCA. They auctioned it off for charity, and I won! TFL. :)
Sorry for the terrible picture. The spear is freehand buttercream. I was totally shocked with myself...I'm a horrible drawer! :)
I had the most fun with this cake. I love the girly theme! TFL. :)
Wilton ball pan for the ladybug, and gumpaste accents. :) The 2nd picture is of the little smash cake that went with it.
Totally threw this one together last minute! I like it though. :)
Twin girls in a pea pod! I was really happy with this one. :) Gumpaste accents on top and gumpaste flowers dusted with lustre dust, but it doesn't show up in the pic so well.
My best friend's baby shower cake! RKT legs and feet.
My first attempt at baby shoes. Obviously got them backwards, but it was a gift cake for my SIL and nobody noticed. ;) Know what to do right next time!
3D brobee cake. 2 - 10" rounds, 1 - 8" round and 1 - 6" round, carved and covered in BC with a grass tip. This one was a lot of fun. :)
I am not a fan of fondant after this one! The shells are white chocolate. TFL. :)
Triple Choc fudge oreo cake with cookies and cream french cream frosting.
Coconut cuppies with SMBC frosting.
My grandma's 75th birthday cake. She LOVES orchids, and this was my first ever attempt at using gumpaste. It's marble cake with chocolate buttercream. I think it turned out really well for my first attempt! :)
Eh...not so good. It tasted great...white cake with fresh strawberry and cream filling and fresh whipped cream frosting. Whipped cream didn't pipe out so well though. Oh well!
Some turned out really good and others were a flop, but I was happy with how my first experience making buttercream flowers went! :)
Red velvet with cream cheese frosting and BC details. A birthday cake for my cousin. I'm terribly sloppy with the borders...I have a shaky hand. :/
Classic yellow cake with vanilla BC and fondant details.
