My latest creation: the ice cream & cake pop. This is a spice cake ball filled with pumpkin ice cream, and covered with orange candy coating. The green stem was made from royal icing.
A tray of decorated "display" cookies to market my Holiday Cookie Kits that I am selling in my area. Each kit contains 1 dozen undecorated homemade cookies, 2 bags of royal icing (choice of 5 colors), 2 containers of decorating sugar &/or sprinkles/jimmies (assorted colors), and a holiday cookie tin, all packaged in a reusable gift bag. I mention all this in case it inspires somebody else to market something similar where they live. We're all in this together, so we might as well share our ideas. :)
Created in honor of my elderly friend Ann, who loved dolphins and the sea, for the reception following her memorial services. The edible images were printed on rice paper, glued to the sugar cookies with a small amount of butter cream, and then "shellacked" with corn syrup thinned with vodka, and sprinkled with aqua blue or opal sanding sugar.
3 of 6 different kinds of farm animal cupcakes created for a child's birthday party. These are the horses, cows, and ducks.
New Years 2010 - these are butter cookies and gold-dusted chocolate-Pama (pomegranate liqueur) truffles. The one with the gold swirl on it is a chocolate-covered coconut ball.
