This was a smash cake I made for my niece. Her dog is a dachshund, so my sister wanted a dog theme. The cake is a 6" round "funfetti" cake with buttercream. The dogs were made with cookies and piped buttercream on top (idea from the book "Hello, Cupcake").

I made this cake for my brother's 21st birthday. It was a huge hit! The bottom cake is 2-12" yellow cakes filled with chocolate mousse and covered with chocolate fudge frosting. The beer mug is 3- 6" chocolate cakes with butter cream frosting. I did fondant for the beer pouring out of the can, the handle, and the bottom of the mug.
