Christmas Robins - Oh how I enjoyed hand painting this 13" x 9" Christmas cake, then piping some royal icing on for the snow on the branch and sprinkling with edible sparkly dust. This is a special christmas cake that I make each year for a local charity which provides temporary accomodation for homeless people. It gives me so much pleasure to be able to create something for people who are less fortunate.

Love And Laughter, Happily Everafter
This 25th Wedding Anniversary cake I made for my second cousin and her husband as a present from our family. two tiers are chocolate with chocolate ganache filling, one tier lemon with lemoncurd buttercream. The top two tiers have the words stencilled "Love and Laughter - Happily everafter". I made the roses and peony decoration from gumpaste and wrapped each tier with ribbon and lace. Please excuse the grubby background - the photos were taken at the venue where the cake was setup (not in my kitchen!)

Many Many thanks to newsmum who very kindly let me use her design for this cake. My niece asked me to make this cake for her neighbour/friend who fosters children, this was for a little boy they had fostered from 4 weeks old and they were very sorry and happy at the same time to be losing him to adoptive parents and wanted to give him an early birthday party with his favourite tv characters - PEPPA PIG AND GEORGE - Marley was absolutely delighted with his cake.

Sugar Plum Fairy/ballerina
I had great fun making this cake for Jess's 3rd birthday, the original design is one of Debbie Brown's. The frilly tutu petticoat took forever to attach and I had to use short cut up straws between each layer for them to dry out without flopping down. The cake is vanilla madeira with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam. carved and covered in fondant, with fondant tutu and skirt, body and head made from modelling paste. with magic edible sparkle dust.
