This was my ICES demonstration piece in the Grex booth. Cast from a mold my husband made from an old cow skull. Airbrushed ivory Satin Ice fondant over rkt. I sculpted the horns from black & white marlbled fondant over rkt. Dirt is crushed cereal. Rose is wafer paper. Pieces survived the air flight home and was shot in our studio.

Indian Summer Acorns - With Wafer Paper And Isomalt
I grew up in western Pennsylvania and we had what the locals called Indian Summer. Warm days, cool nights and vivid color EVERYWHERE for a fleeting week or two. Goldfish Trio Sculpture
This was my first-ever competition entry - done for 2013 That Takes The Cake. Awarded Best of Division: Professional Free-standing isomalt walls with reverse-painted goldfish (in colored cocoa butter) with airbrush accents. Wafer paper and colored cocoa butter water lilly. Isomalt "lampwork" pebbles. (Largest wall is approx 16"x18") Products: Chef Rubber colored cocoa butter, airbrush colors, lusters and cooked isomalt. Cake Play isomalt. Grex Airbrush.

Here's the result of one of my recent culinary adventures.... 100% edible isomalt beads - NO MOLD REQUIRED shown with molded pendant. Wafer paper flowers are from hand-made sculpted silicone molds. Blossoms are wafer paper and uncoated dragees. Wafer paper branch made on a hand made armature. Dragonfly black fondant body and wafer paper wings are from stock silicone molds. Cake base is printed edible frosting sheet, edible glitter and tinted piping gel. Airbrush color. Colored cocoa butter hand painting.
