.... and the witch fell into the pumpkin! : ) 6" vanilla cake filled with chocolate ganache and raspberry preserves carved into a pumpkin. Covered in fondant and painted in diluted food coloring.

Polk-A-Dots.

Sides of the cake inspired from a card. Top of cake was just a last-minute addition, hence the thickness of the fondant to support itself up. Inside was a vanilla cake with orange buttercream.

The First.

My very first wedding cake (dummy) made in August 2009 when I was still a student in culinary school. It was a final project for one of my classes. The blue was actually a wedgewood blue, but turned a tiffany blue color because of the lights at school.

Components Of A Bride.

The cake resembles the components of a bride on her special day! The tiara resembles, (you guessed it!) the tiara! The design on the cookies on the first tier, achieved by using the brush embroidery technique, resemble the lace on the wedding dress, and the layers of fondant on the bottom tier resemble the layering of the dress.
