This wedding cake was made for a gorgeous couple who eloped in Italy, and recently came back home to Melbourne to celebrate their marriage with their family and friends. They wanted a design which captured the beauty of picturesque Positano where they were married. So I came up with this! I hope this handpainted design does it justice.

From the first time I saw one of these here on CC, I knew I just had to make one! They are just so adorable! So when someone asked me to do a Christmas themed cake, guess what I suggested!
Had fun making making gumpaste shoes for the first time! Already planning what I want to do for the next one! I really learnt a lot of things while making this cake... like next time I need to carve the pillows a little flatter, otherwise it won't sit on top of each other properly and therefore gravity will cause the fondant to crack everywhere! I fixed it though, lucky! :D

Giant cupcake tower for a 21st birthday. Not sure if you can see it, but the toppers spell out "happy birthday caroline" I also made the tower itself out of cake boards, coconut cream cans and my trusty hot glue gun :)
This was for a wedding yesterday and I already received the best feedback today from the bride herself! I have only been making cakes for a year and a half so this makes me so so happy! All the hard work, stress and mental breakdowns were totally worth the compliments I received from this happy bride :) Vanilla cake filled with whipped white chocolate ganache and raspberry. All covered in fondant with fondant toppers. Fresh flowers were placed on top.
Made for a surprise 21st birthday party. The birthday boy is a big gamer and his girlfriend suggested final fantasy character figurines. So glad he loved it!
First time using cream cheese frosting... Man I have seriously been missing out! It's the best! :)
My little step brother requested a cake in the shape of the character Charmander from Pokemon for his birthday... His birthday is actually on the 31st Oct, so i'm surprised he didn't ask for a Halloween themed cake! The head and body is cake, the limbs and tail is fondant. The whole family only managed to eat half of his head.

Second one of these I have made. I had a major disaster 4 hours before delivery.... The cake was too soft and collapsed while I was carving it! I had to quickly bake, cool and carve another one! Very very stressed for this one!
