Tropical Paradise

This was for my sisters wedding. I handmade all the sugar-flowers (lilies, frangipanis and green orchids) and then drove them 3500km up to Nth Qld to the tropical Daintree rainforest. I was so worried about them melting but it was all good. I baked the top tier choc caramel fudge cake and the cherry-ripe cupcakes there. The champagne glasses were filled with bubbly before being glued to the boards for stability.

Chocolate Cupcakes

70 cupcakes 1/2 dark-1/2 white with mousse filling, handmade chocolate cups, hamdmade chocolate hearts, handtied ribbons. Top tier was gluten free french chocolate cake. Far too much work for the price I quoted!

'Meridee'. 3 tiers of Rich chocolate dessert cake. Decorated in chocolate buttercream and chocolate shards with 100s of handmade rosepetals and blossoms. The bride supplied the diamond topper. Loved doing this cake, hated delivering it on a 35*C day. But after 1 hr in the car it was fine. Don't under estimate the power of freezer bricks!
