Made this cake for my friends son over the weekend. She told me to wing it so I did. For the stars standing up, I melted different colored chocolates and put them into a sucker mold. The little stars coming down I did the same thing and then put them into a candy mold. For the coloring on the edges, I took the colored chocolate and used my grater to shredded it up and then sprinkled it on the outside. They loved it!
I made this cake for my sons first birthday. We had a John Deer themed birthday and I made a cake that had a farm scene. I purchased toy animals and put them around in the green icing, then I took hot chocolate powder to make the farmers field then put in red, yellow, and orange candies to simulate veggies growing and then put a tractor in the field with them. Could have looked better, but it was my first cake.
