Wine Loving Dog
My father-in-law's 90th birthday cakes. Dog is all cake. Crate is cake, bottle is rice krispies. Sadly my FIL suffers from short term memory loss. He loved the cakes & tried to remove the wine bottle but 20 minutes after it was cut he had no memory of the cake or his 2 sisters being at the party. But while in the moment..he loved all the attention. Every time I talk to him he asks me "When are you going to make me one of your fancy cakes?"

Eloise
My grand-daughter requested a Princess Horse w/ sparkly shoes, a tiara & pretty hair...so here she is...Eloise! Dang those high heels! Horses pituty is an egg cake mold, body is cake & head is RKTs. All MMF with some gumpaste mixed in .Legs are pastillage covered with MMF & have wire through them for support. Eloisie has a friend named Francine but she wasn't finished in time for the party.

1St Birthday
Made to match birthday boy's favorite stuffed animal. All MMF. Elephant body is cake with RKT head / trunk / feet. I put straws through feet & into base cake to keep the weight of the body from crushing the feet. I brushed Wilton silver shimmer dust all over the elephant because to match the material on the actual toy and it makes some areas of the pic look like the MMF was to thin in spots.

Happy Birth Day
Literally a 10 min cake. Made with leftovers from another cake I had just finished. As I headed out the door to my niece's son's party her mom called to tell me my other niece just had her baby girl. Since we would be passing by & stopping at the hospital I threw together this cake to take to her. My first actual "birth" day cake. The photo is a little distorted. The rabbit isn't really that much bigger than the cake.

Elmo's World
My thanks to "lilrev" for her Elmo & directions. My changes were to use egg shape pans for the head (she used ball pan) I made 2 eggs, split in center & used rounded ends. Wrapped in fondant to keep together. feet were 3" rounds with just a little batter in them. arms are 4" rounds. I cut out the mid sections & used the curves. Base is 12" rice kripes. And he survived a nail bitning 3 hour trip over very bumpy roads. I put him in a cardboard box (silicon sheet under tray) and set on a feather pillow to absorb the shock. Not one pc of "fur" fell off!
