Party Cake
This 3-tiered cake is made with fondant, stamps and food coloring, and ribbon. The top and bottom tiers were stamped with food coloring after we put the fondant on, but the middle tier was stamped when it was rolled out flat, and we just waited a few moments for it to dry before putting it on the cake.

Pink And Green Flowers
A cake made to test the parchment paper chocolate transfer method I read in this years Wilton yearbook (2011?). I piped the flowers in chocolate onto parchment paper, then after a minute when I wasn't afriad they'd drip, press them gently into the cake.. wait 5 minutes and peel the paper off. It was a neat trick and now I know it works!

Anniversary Cake
This cake was made for my aunt, who is an avid scrapbooker, so we found some scrapbook pages that reminded us of her style and made a cake out of it! It's all fondant. The top tier has piped chocolate on the fondant, the middle tier has fondant lines attached, and the bottom tier is hand painted with yellow luster dust.

Exercise Cake
A birthday cake made for an exercise fanatic! We cut 7 silhouettes of exercising figures out of fondant and placed them on the buttercream cake. The bottom border is a buttercream bead border with small balls of black fondant placed between the beads. The top weight was gum paste which we made and assembled in half an hour. Next time we'll make it days in advance to let it dry really hard so it doesn't bow.
