I did this cake for Icing Smiles, a great non-profit organization. The recipient was Ben, a little boy who was born with heart defects and had multiple open-heart surgeries before his 2nd birthday. He was celebrating the end of surgeries and his mended heart. It was such a blessing to be able to do this for this family.
This is my first attempt at a 3D cake, Elmo's head, imo, is WAY to big, and I had some trouble with his arms. He was for my daughter's 2nd Birthday and she loved him though, so mission accomplished!

my first experience with fondant! should have used double layers on the tiers, but didn't need that much cake!
