Cake # 4. The young lady wanted a crazy, colorful cake with feathers and a crown. It was a fun cake to do, but I am still learning. Each layer was a different flavor cake. It is fondant covered and decorated with fondant and gum paste. The tiara is gum paste with rock candy jewels. Thanks to all of the beautiful cakes on here for helping with my inspiration.

Made this to take as a dessert to my Bible study group. This was my 2nd cake. First time to try the basket weave. I just wanted to try something different. This is a double layer 8" cake. Covered with MMF. All flowers,leaves, bugs and ribbon are fondant. The basket is made of krispie treats and covered in brown fondant and then chocolate frosting. It was a very fun and simple cake to make. Big hit with the ladies.
This cake was for a young man's graduation and birthday combined. I was told he likes to sleep in his bed, hunt and fish, play video games and drink beer. So I tried to capture a little of everything while making it a comical of the critters taking over while he sleeps. The cake is a 1/2 sheet and is frosted in BC. The Camo on the sides is BC. All of the figures are fondant and gumpaste. This was my first try at fondant/gumpaste figures. 4th cake overall.
