I was inspired by a cake I saw on CC ( http://cakecentral.com/g/i/2278387/valentine-cake/u/702489/ ). I haven't done a lot of fondant work, so this was just for practice. The fondant was Michele Foster's recipe - delicious! This was the first time I tried using ganache, as well, and I was very pleased with it although it was soooo rich.
This was a cake for a celebration around Christmas, although it wasn't exactly a Christmas party. The bow and ribbons were out of fondant.
This was the final cake for my 3rd Wilton course.
