Wonky Cake - hooray, this is my very first attempt at a wonky cake made for a birthday. I have been wanting to make one of these for ages. both cakes are a maderia sponge. i did make the mistake though of splitting them and filling them with buttercream but next time I definately won't be doing that again!!

This was a challenge and a half. Gift box cakes made for a joint 21st & 30th birthday. I did want to do one of them with an open lid and tissue paper coming out but I wasn't quite sure how to get the open lid effect so i chickened out. but the two girls loved the cake.
Cake made for a 30th birthday. This was a nightmare to do but I was pleased with the end result. Bow is made from fondant and it is also fondant around the base of the cake brushed with lustre dust so that it looks like satin material.
this was for a justin bieber fan - my sincere apologies to all his fans because yes I do realise that my little fondant figure looks nothing like him. :)

This was my first attempt at the xbox 360 cake. made for an 18th birthday. cake is a chocolate sponge covered with fondant. controller is also a small chocolate sponge. thank you for all the ideas and pictures on CC.
A cake plaque made for a friend of my sister for her baby shower cake. thank you for the bootie template found on CC. Everything is made from fondant, except the bling on the shoes and soother.
1st b/day fondant iced cake and board, with hand-made pink fondant teddy bear.
This is a middle tier of a wedding cake that I was asked to re-ice for their little boy's christening. All the decorations were hand-made from fondant. There is also a picture of the wedding cake during the removal of the original icing and marzipan. It was a bit of a challenge but I think it all worked out in the end. :)
