Cake In A Jar
This I sent to my Husband on his birthday while he was deployed. They are easy to make and the troops LOVE them! I used canning jars, sterilized them and filled them half way with cake batter and baked in the jars at a 350 degree oven for about 20- 30 minutes. As soon as they come out of the oven using oven mitts screw on the lids and when they cool it will make a ping sound and that means they are sealed and ready to go. I usually send a small squeeze packet of frosting with the cakes.

Fathers Day Bbq Cake
I used two 9" round cake pans. Butter cream frosting white on bottom and tinted black on top layer. I used double chocolate cookies for the hamburgers and tinted golden yellow fondant for the cheese. I used fondant for the hot dogs tinted with rose color and then made grill marks with a black edible cookie pen. I wrapped the top layer part with black licorice to give it depth and wrapped skewers in foil for the grate part. Then I piped grass around the bottom using star tip.

Mario Cake
I used two 10" rounds for the bottom layer and two 6" rounds for the top. Butter cream frosting tinted with sky blue. I used a cloud cookie cutter for the clouds in fondant and free handed all the other details. I piped grass hills using star tip and I purchased the mini figurines on ebay.
