I painted this stained-glass cake using buttercream. I piped on different colors of buttercream and smoothed the sections out with a small offset spatula and a little water. Next time I think I will try it on a wedding cake.
These cakes were for a cute little 7 year old girl. She loves her little stuffed animal that is a pug. The bigger cake is a 1/4 Sheet and the small individual cake is a 5 inch round 2 layer. The decorations are all buttercream which I used to paint the pugs.

The Bride was thrilled with her cake, but I was so disappointed because before I steamed the flowers they were beautiful! After I steamed them they looked kind of plastic. Next time I won't steam the daisies. They where better with a bisque look.
This cake is from the video game portals. It is supposed to be ugly, LOL
