Super Heroes Cake
Made this cake for a client's son who loves Batman, Superman and Spiderman. She got me some online pictures and I got some ideas from here. Thank you all talented CC's. The Spiderman figure will outlive us all...it is not sugar...it is a plastic toy. It would be looking more like a spider and less than a man if I atempted to mold by hand. :) TFL

Halloween Wedding Cake
3 tier Halloween Wedding cake. All butter cream finished.Skulls are fondant covered with sugar. The bride and groom skelletons were provided by the mother or the groom and she told me to make a cake topper "crazy and different". Well, at 1 in the morning, this is what I did. Very risque, but the bride loved! I have to add that this was a very challenging cake to do. I will have to rethink my support system for this kind of cake. Also, I had to sit in the back of the delivering van holding the 2 bottom tier for 50 miles while my hubby drove. It made to the venue ok but it was shaky and by the time we got there, so was I ! I was asked for a grown up Schooby Doo sheet cake...the best I could come up last minute was this. Devil's Food cake with white chocolate mousse. Covered in buttercream. Lattice was hand piped after my atempt of stenceling did not go well. Schooby is a buttercream transfer done with plastic film.( that was great! I will never use parchment paper ever again!). Thanks for all the tips from you CC members!! You guys are the best!!!!!

Iphone Cake
Almond Butter Pound Cake with cookies n cream filling. Buttercream coat then covered in MMF. All details are fondant. Apps are hand painted fondant. I got the inspiration here on CC...mine is not as good but the kids loved! I used "fluff" for mine black fondant and I found very sticky and it was very hard to work with. Next time I will use my original mashmallow recipe, it worked a lot better. Thanks for looking. :)

Bottom cake is a 8" French Vanilla with chocolate swirl and cookies n cream mousse filling. Top cake is a 5" Red Velvete with white chocolate amaretto mousse filling. Flowers and all details are fondant. Icing is buttercream and I will never do it again! It was a pain in my neck to get smoth and finaly I gave up :( Next time I will cover in fondant. I know is not perfect but I'm happy with it. The client was amazed by it so I got to go with that :) Thank you for looking. Any constructive comments will be welcome!!!

6'' round tester cake. First time making mashmallow fondant so I made this small cake to try it out. It was easy to make, low in cost, easy to work with and tasted delicious. Also, my second fondant cake. I just started decorating cakes and have no formal decorating education. Would love to hear from you. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!
