Rose Cake
By far my biggest cake yet. I did it for practice and for fun and I love how it turned out. The design was inspired by Martha Stewart's Wedding Cakes and by Rylan's cakes. The tiers are 10/8/6/4 ganached and covered in fondant. The 8 and 4 tiers have an imprint from a rubber stamp all over. The ovals are also imprinted with the stamp. The bands at the bottom of each tier were cut with a paper border punch. The bands, the bows, and the white ovals are all gumpaste. The cakes themselves are marble with dark chocolate ganache and peanut butter with milk chocolate ganache. TFL!

Ava's Birthday Cake
This is a birthday cake I did for a friend's daughter's 5th birthday. The letters and number "5" are chocolate with coarse sugar, the butterflies and some flowers are royal icing with colored sugar, and the remaining flowers are buttercream. The cake is iced in buttercream. It is an 8" chocolate with oreo filling.

Hello Kitty Cake
This birthday cake for my daughter is yellow cake with dulce de leche filling and SMBC icing. This was my first time using SMBC and I found it very difficult to work with! It kept melting on me and got very bubbly. I would love tips on working with meringue buttercream; I like the taste of it better than ABC. Overall, I thought this cake wasn't too bad. The Hello Kitty on top is a store-bought marshmallow sucker and the decorations on the sides are homemade chocolate candies.
