Girly Flowers Birthday Cake
9th Birthday cake for my niece. Since I am still working as a nurse, I didn't have the time to give this cake the extra custom work that I would have liked (such a lining the cakeboard with fondant, among other things!), but I think it turned out cute for a 3 hour job from start to finish! Base tier is French Vanilla Cake with Belgian Chocolate buttercream. Top tier is French Vanilla Cake with Raspberry Filling and White Chocolate-Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese frosting. Vanilla Satin Ice Fondant, with fondant and scrapbooking accents. Thanks for looking!

Chanel Bag & Shoe 40Th Birthday Cake
Customer requested pink, black and white, and let me have free-reign with this design and theme. He only said that his wife is super-girly, so I couldn't wait to do this cake!....CONFESSION: this is my FIRST attempt at doing a Chanel bag, and second time doing a shoe. That Chanel logo gave me FITS! I have been doing cakes for about a year now and am slowing teaching myself these techniques, so I welcome any tips that you pros can give me, in trying to make this purse look more realistic! I have seen some bags on this site that are AMAZING!!! Base tier is a 9 inch round, vanilla cake, vanilla BC and covered in Satin Ice Fondant. Fondant zebra pattern, ribbon and flower. Dusted with Pearl lustre. Dragees to center of flower. Purse is constructed from 9x13 cake, cut into thirds and stacked, chocolate cake with vanilla BC. Covered in Fondarific Black fondant. Fondant straps, zipper, etc. Shoe is made from Black fondant with tylose powder. I sprinkled lots of rainbow disco dust on the flower, ribbon and cake board, so it's pretty sparkly, but hard to tell in the pic! Everything is edible with this cake, except the scrap book lettering on the cake board. Thanks for looking!

Boy have things changed since I was in HighSchool! Got a call from a friend, asking me to make some glittery and girly cupcakes for her son, to give to his "potential" prom date! I guess guys have to do extraordinary things to get a prom date, anymore! Wow! I am happy to report that she loved the cupcakes and said, YES!!! They went to the prom just a few weeks ago. A happy-cake-ending, is always the best! Dark Chocolate cupcakes with gel-colored vanilla buttercream, fondant lettering and accent pieces, sprinkles and lots of rainbow dust. TFL!

Abby Cadabby Birthday Cake
Chocolate and Vanilla Marble Cake with French Vanilla BC, covered with Satin Ice Fondant. Gumpaste and fondant accents. Pearl dust and Rainbow dust for sparkle. Satin bow and Scrapbook lettering for the cake board. Abby is an image that I printed off of the internet, laminated her and then placed on a wire for the "flying" effect. Design is inspired by many amazing decorators that I have admired on CC. This was a last-minute order. I hope the birthday girl enjoys it as much as I loved making it!

Ivory Lace And Pearl Wedding Cake
My first wedding cake and it almost KILLED ME!!! hahaha! This is a white chocolate and vanilla wedding cake with vanilla bean buttercream filling. Covered with Satin Ice fondant (which I was very dissappointed in, btw...it kept cracking! Oh the stress!) Lace and Pearl borders made with fondant and silicone molds, then brushed with Super-Pearl dust. The bride wanted this cake stacked in an off-set style. After set up, I added lots of Rainbow Disco Dust for extra-sparkle under the spotlight! I made a grooms cake too, and between the two, I am exhausted, but thrilled that the cakes were a hit! Thanks for looking, and please share any feedback, I need all of the tips and help I can get! :)

Thomas The Train Birthday Cake
Everything is fondant and edible, with the exception of the toy trains and the wires. I love the way this cake turned out. Thanks to the many cake designers on this site whose designs helped to inspire my vision with this cake. I cannot possibly name you all personally and cannot thank everyone, enough! TFL!!!

Toy Story
My first attempt at a Toy Story cake, and this was LOT'S of work! Everything is fondant and edible, with the exception of Buzz. I ran out of time and couldn't muster the energy to model him, and do him justice! The cake board is covered in fondant and is modeled after Woodys shirt pattern. Little Caleb is a huge Buzz fan and didn't want Woody on the cake, but I wanted to incorporate a little "western wear" to give it the right vibe. Thanks to all of the awesome cake designers on this site, this cake was created from many design inspirations! TFL!!!

Baby Girl Shower Cake
My first baby shower cake, and I am still learning! Made for my nail tech, who is having her 3rd baby girl in a few weeks. This cake was created as a surprise, so I didn't want to do anything too big. Gumpaste stroller topper (my first experience with gumpaste!), Fondant baby quilt, lavendar fondant with fondant flowers and butterflies. Fondant pearl border. White Chocolate Cake with blueberry filling and Vanilla BC. It was a huge hit.

Soccer Birthday Cake
3 tiers (top tier carved) of Strawberry Cake with White Chocolate BC. This was a HUGE cake, 15# hexagon base tier, 12" middle tier and 10" top tier...lots of work, but the birthday boy loved it! I had never seen a soccer ball up close, prior to making this cake, so it took me about 3 hours of research and practice to get it right. I learned alot and the mistakes with the ball were minimal(enough for me!) with the final result. TFL!

Gray & Silver Wedding Cake
My very first wedding cake, and this is actually a practice cake. Even though I have alot of cake on my hands, I am glad I decided to do this before my first actual order for a wedding cake in October. I learned alot of valuable lessons, and after a few mishaps, I now know what NOT to do! Thanks for looking, will appreciate any constructive criticism or advice that you can give me! I have only been doing this for 4 months! :)
