Chocolate Raspberry cake with buttercream. I thought it was time to make a cake for my own children who are big fans of Spongebob. They've spent months looking enviously at "other people's cakes" so were delighted with their surprise. Needless to say an hour later you wouldn't recognise him!
Cake was designed to match the funky party invitation. I would have LOVED to use the Gerbera Cutters but shopped around on-line and could not get them delivered on time so did my best with an oval cutter!

This was a lemon madeira cake with buttercream. The client asked for a Summer Rose theme with yellow and pink colours. I hadn't done roses since my first cake course so was really pleased with how they turned out. Glad I took notes!

This was for a hen (bachelorette) party. The bride to be was moving out to the countryside. Friends loved planning the cake joking that they would be spending lazy afternoons in a hammock!
The little boy's mum said I could choose any colourful design for the cake and that he liked balloons or trains so I decided to do both.

The client said ...."It's my mum and dad's ruby wedding anniversary so something with hearts please. Also on the same day it's my mum's birthday. Her favourite colour is blue and she loves giraffes." Here is the the result and I just loved doing it.
I'm looking forward to doing this again with 2 tiers and lots more butterflies.
