* A Rabbids Invasion cake made for my niece. Still kept it soft and girly, but fun!
Strawberry Shortcake's berry bitty cafe! 6" square bottom and 8" carved top! For my daughter's 5th birthday... I hated to cut it! www.cakeitycakes.ca
Lovin' the new ombre ruffle trend in wedding cakes!! Inspired by the many that I've seen. Bride wanted purple, and a non-real flower.
I am not good at making realistic flowers - so this cake was perfect for me! Simply spring!
Book cake for my niece turning 9. Hedwig (owl) is rice krispies detailed in fondant. Glasses are from her halloween costume. Inspired by many cakes her on CC, but mostly by jsouth82s cake!
Not a good picture - didn't get a chance to get a better one! The kids loved it though!
Fondant flower, and purple sugar added for sparkle!
Based on a Peggy Porschen design. All flowers and stems made of fondant. 6" bottom layer. The 6" top baked in a pyrex bowl for the dome shape.
Princess castle made for my little niece turning 4. Inspired by many cakes here on CC! 6" vanilla cake, and 8" chocolate. Towers are paper towel rolls covered in fondant. Tops are made of fondant and rolled in purple sugar.
This cake was made for a friends little boy who turned 4. Inspired by other similar cakes on CC! The car was made of gumpaste - which I'll never do again - it was so small for details (I'm not that good!). 6" cake was double chocolate, and bottom 9" cake was vanilla.
Vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. The daisies are also made of buttercream.
