My take on the Martha Stewart cake. Also inspired by EBcakes here on CC. This was for a 1st birthday party. They had a fairy/fantasy woodland theme.....the cake look perfect on their table! (pic was taken before I finished the cake board, lol)
My friend asked for white chocolate cake with sunflowers. All I could think of was white chocolate KitKats.....YUM! White cake with raspberry filling, white chocolate ganache, white chocolate KitKats and gumpaste flowers.
My friends daughter wanted a RED cake with a bee and a lady bug on it. This is what we came up with based on her favorite bedtime storybook. All done in MMF, the wings are gumpaste and the antenne are toothpicks. You can't see it, but the wings and some flowers have pearl dust on them.
My friend asked me to make this for her son's birthday. I adapted it from a photo she gave me of a Jane Asher cake......mine is not even close! Ha! I have never carved a cake before so I was terrified! The dino is carved from three 1/4 sheet cakes and a dome cake, it is set on a 1/2 sheet cake. It was HUGE! The head and tail are molded from cake pop mixture instead of RKT. It worked out better than I thought it would. Thanks for looking. =)
Finally, I got to do a girly cake! All marshmallow fondant.
Did this for a friends shower. She loved a design she found on here by Grozdanka which is beyond my skill, so I came up with this as a compromise. It is all done in MMF.

Marshmallow Icing with MMF accents/figure. I made this for my sons 1st Birthday. I tried to incorporate all of the things he likes. Trucks, balloons, and puppies!
My sister found this cake by Mayen on Youtube and asked me to make it. Cake is covered in MMF with MMF accents and figures. The little treasure chest opens up to place the candle. I have never done anything like this before, but thanks to all of you and your wonderful advice/tutorials I was able to give my nephew a cute cake. =)
