I did this or a 10 year old avid hunter. I got the technique for the sides of of CC but I can remember from where but they get that credit whoever they are.
I did this wedding cake for an 75 year old couple that wanted a fun western themed wedding.
This is a safari cake I did for a guy who is going on a African hunt in the summer. The horns on top are Kudu horns which he will be hunting. Hand painted safari silhouettes and a double barrel hunting rifle.
I did this wedding cake for a bride who had a winter wedding and wanted the cake to look frosted. She also wanted birch branches on it and she wanted then to be real so they are not edible but that was at her request.
My bride had a very specific idea for her cake and I would have to say I loved the way it turned out. It made a very big statement and was a beautiful use of her colors. It had 1 Corinthians spiraling up the side which added another great touch.
This is not my original design. It is a Debbie Brown design from her book. My daughter has always loved this cake so she asked for it for her birthday. Mine is no were even close to as good as the original but I switched up a few things. I need practice on faces.....so tough lol
