My first decorated cake ever. before this my only attempt at decorating has been slapping on some canned icing and candy letters. this was for my daughters birthday and she helped place somne of the fondant cutouts on the cake. it turned out much better than I had expected. top is 6 inch and 7 inch white cake. bottom is 8 inch and 9 inch chocolate. I had decided to take a dive and try it out and was prepared to run to walmart and buy a cake if it turnned out to be a hot mess. now I want to take classes!
