Wilton Course 3 Final
final cake for wilton course 3. the bottom is spice cake with peanut buttercream and the top is chocolate with strawberry buttercream. 44 gumpaste roses and i'm not sure how many leaves i stuck on there. i (obviously) skipped over covering my cake board, won't make that mistake again. i rolled my fondant a little thin and it tore in a couple of places, lesson learned on that one too.

Chocolate Butter Cream
first try at chocolate buttercream. i added a little salt and some extra water because it was too sweet and WAY too stiff. on the other hand, i couldn't get my white buttercream stiff enough so my roses are a little droopy. i need to work more on getting air out my frosting. the cake is chocolate/tomato soup.
