Love the petal effect and wanted to try it on a square cake. Made this for my Aunt's anniversary. 12-9-6 square tiers finished in Pastry Pride and sprayed with edible pearl spray. Fantasy flower is 50/50 gumpaste/fondant and dusted with disco dust. :-)

I made this for a girlfriend's daughter - She raised a lamb for FFA and so we added the lambies just for her :) The cake is 6/10 Cream cheese BC, WASC with white chocolate and fresh strawberries on bottom; chocolate BC with chocolate fudge cake and ganache made from Andes candies. All BC with fondant and gumpaste accents. Lambies are inspired by aine2's sheep.

I asked my son what kind of cake this year? He replied "I want a chocolate cake with coconut filling and a sock monkey under an umbrella on a beach laying with his hands behind his head relaxing!" The beach is crushed graham crackers - everything else is buttercream and the figures & waves are molded from fondant/gumpaste. This cake tasted just like a mounds bar...I'm still surprised my boy picked that combo!

i loved the tutorial by iambaker and had to try this. Made this for a friend - its a black forest cake with cherries and my swirls are whipped cream. I sprayed pearl luster spray and then added a light spray of orange and then pink to make it peach. I love this technique!

Made this maroon/ivory cream cheese BC cake for my nephews small wedding reception. The tiers are 6 inch banana/bavarian cream; 8 inch strawberry/passion fruit mousse; 10 inch chocolate fudge/peanut butter mousse. I have always wanted to try piping a wedding cake and incorporated a little "somethin' somethin' " from different designs I loved. Gumpaste fantasy flowers.
My take on a sheet cake I absolutely loved by bellsnbows. Chocolate/vanilla marble with buttercream and fondant accents.
Made for a friends granddaughter. Cake is red velvet with white chocolate ganache and lovely purple BC. I had never made my own fondant/gumpaste topper before and being the klutz I am I think it turned out alright. The topper, flowers are Fondant/gumpaste mixture and I used some colored edible balls
