I started to make cakes for my girls and this was my first one. Just covered in buttercream frosting, very simple, but for her first birthday she loved it!

I used the Wilton Cake Train mold for Thomas, mini loaf pans for the remainder of the train.
A 13x9 cake covered and fondant. Then I shaped the fondant into the bow and ribbon on top of the cake.
I carved Mator from a couple of cake layers, no molds were used. The tow is made from candy bars and licorice. The entire cake is covered in buttercream frosting. This cake was made last minute for my nephews party, so I ran out of time when I made the base, which as you can tell was quite rushed.
