Circles & Stripes Fun Cake
marshmallow fondant, yellow cake & cream cheese filling. The "2" topper is made of modeling chocolate & is my second time working with it. I had a much better experience with it this time around. :) I dyed it before it was all the way cool, & shaped it after it'd spent a night in the fridge. I placed "feet" in the bottom of the 2 before I returned it to the fridge to harden, so that I could insert it into the cake. The Dora & Boots are toys that I placed on the cake as a request from the client. I'm really happy with this cake!

Butterflies, Bluebirds, & Flowers
marshmallow fondant, pound cake w/ buttercream filling. This was my first attempt at working with gumpaste (the butterflies & leaves), modeling chocolate (the bird), & writing on the cake. I wasn't thrilled with the results, lol. I am not sure I really like gumpaste...I'll give it another shot later on. The modeling chocolate was ok, just "unknown" to me, I didn't have the right type of coloring for it, so it looked a little splotchy. AND I had serious shaky hand when trying to write, so it's not perfect. Overall, I'm still really thrilled with the cake, as was the birthday girl :)

Zebra, Leopard & Pink!
marshmallow fondant, 3 tier cake. The bottom tier is a rainbow cake, (used a yellow cake mix, separated into sections & dyed) with chocolate filling. The middle tier is dark chocolate cake with vanilla filling. And the top tier is pound cake with hot pink butter cream filling. I made this cake for my oldest daughter, per her dreaming it up. :)

Girlie Birthday Cake, Pink W/ Polka Dots
marshmallow fondant with yellow cake & chocolate filling. I made this cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday. I wanted to do something that was more fun than an "ordinary" cake. :) So I got online & checked out a bunch of help sites, & figured out how to do this!
