This was my first pillow cake, my first gumpaste tiara, and my first hard candy gems. I made the tiara using a template on cake central and a clay extruder.
I made this cake for my son's 4th birthday. It was three 9x13 cakes put together. I used buttercream, fondant, gumpaste, rice krispie treats, and royal icing on this cake. It has 4 of the businesses from Disney Pixar Cars on it, the Cozy Cone Motel, Tow Mater's Towing, Luigi's Casa Della Tires, and Flo's V8 Cafe. The cozy cones and V8 Cafe are made from RKT covered in fondant. Luigi's is cake covered in fondant and roof done in buttercream. Mater's fence and all signs are gumpaste.
