Habitat For Humanity Carpenters' Ball Cake
I worked at Habitat for Humanity Newark and made this for the Carpenters' Ball fundraiser. It's a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and chocolate pudding filling, vanilla and chocolate buttercream icing, fondant flowers and edible icing photo of the event flier.

Kitty Cat Cupcakes
This is my variation on the Hello, Cupcake! Kitty Cat Cupcakes. These were vanilla cupcakes with buttercream fur, royal icing whiskers, mini M&M eyes, and Starburst inner ears, noses and tongues (and mini "Duff" roses on the girls). I tried to make them all different and give them their own purrsonality!

Red Velvet Snowman Circle Of Friends
I made these cakes for Christmas day. It's a circle of snowman friends-they're small red velvet cakes with cream cheese icing and homemade marshmallow fondant. The hats are stacked regular and mini oreos covered with Duff Goldman black fondant (I also used Duff's red fondant for the scarves).

Snowman Cake
This was my first time using Marshmallow Fondant, and I will NEVER use anything else! It was so inexpensive and easy to make, and it tasted great! This cute little snowman was made using the 4-cup, mini wedding cake pan. He's a vanilla cake with MMF and oreo cookies covered in fondant for his top hat (wish I'd pushed the hat down a little more so you couldn't see the icing peeking out).

Hello Kitty Cake
Hello Kitty birthday cake. It's a vanilla cake with smoothed buttercream icing. For the bow I rolled gumdrops flat in sugar and cut out the three bow sections. The nose and eyes are also gumdrops; the latter purple gumdrops painted with black food coloring. The whiskers are black licorice.

Seashell Wedding Cake
This was a re-creation of a wedding cake that a well-trained husband had me make for his wife for Mothers' Day. It's a vanilla cake with buttercream icing, buttercream filling with fresh strawberries, royal icing borders and scrollwork with pearl dragees, and Guylian chocolate seashells. HINT: If you're looking for these shells, I searched all over town and almost bought them online for a FORTUNE, but discovered them at WALMART for about $7 a box! Plenty for the cake with some left over!

Porgy And Bess Opera Cake
I'm an opera singer by profession, so I made this cake for my Porgy and Bess castmates at NJ State Opera. It was my signature chocolate cake with buttercream icing, basketweave on the sides, edible icing photo and fondant sculpture representing themes from the opera, including Bess' red dress, Porgy's crutch, Serena's bible, picnic basket and baskets of crabs and strawberries, pot of honey, dice, packet of "happy dust" and stanza of music from the finale.
