The sugar flowers for this cake were lots of fun to make. They included dahlias, roses, blue thistle, succulents, and lots of different leaves and buds. I did the lace on the sides to replicate the lace on the bride's dress.

Black and white fondant stripes, done with a hand-cut strips kind of look in mind. The brightly colored sugar flowers include poppies, clematis, and ranunculus. Most exciting part, this cake is featured in the most recent issue of Brides magazine! :)
The cake is covered in fondant and finished with molded and piped lace details. It was then sprayed with a bronze shimmer. All of the sugar flowers I hand-made: ranunculus, spray roses, garden roses, parrot tulips, dusty miller, leaves and buds.

I did this cake as a tutorial for a DIY wedding blog. The "puffs" are made from fruit roll-ups!
We did this wedding cake to match the couple's invitations. The pattern was made with cutters and then some scrolls were brushed gold.
