Napkin Birthday Cake
This cake was made to go with napkins my mother picked out for my grandmother's 90th birthday. Not really my style, but she loved it. this was only the 3rd time i rolled fondant and i think i was still using wilton fondant. I hand painted white fondant to get the town and country fruit.

Grass Cake
this was my wedding cake. I did the top layers in advance. the only cake layer was the bottom-- which i rolled out the morning of. It was my first fondant cake. I purchased the fondant from Michaels craft store and will never do that again! too expensive and it is so hard to work with. The design is not my own. I saw it in a bridal magazine.

Thunder Bunny Dunny Birthday Cake
This cake was for another rollerderby friend of mine. Her derby name is Thunder Bunny, so what better theme is there then a thunder bunny dunny. She loved the chocolate cake with Beer Buttercream frosting! the dunny on the top is made out of gumpaste and rice kirspy treats. I would make him out of fondant next time-- the gumpaste dried badly.

Fetus Cake
This cake i made for my very good friend. She is in roller derby with me and is a biology teacher at Whitewater University. She had had 3 baby showers already and we knew she didn't want to have anything that was girly. She loved the cake and an extra surprise was when she cut into the red velvet cake-- of course! Baby Marina arrived 2 weeks later healthy and happy.
