My Pumpkin Harvest cupcakes! It's a pumpkin cupcake with a ginger snap cookie crust bottom, topped lovingly with brown sugar bauutercream, sprinkled with more crust and adorned with fondant pumpkins!
I wanted it to look like the cupcakes turned into rabid zombies! lol
This was my first attempt at really making roses! Thanks to a friend who is a cake queen, I finally figured them out. :) I swear, this is getting rather addicting. It's all homemade Wilton's buttercream icing and coloring, just so you know. :)
This was my daughter's 8th birthday cake as well as the first time I've ever picked up a piping bag. I was so nervous! I found a vintage Garfield 3D cake pan on Ebay and snatched it up for a song, then used one of the ball pans to make the yarn. All of the decorations are buttercream and the cake is a buttermilk pound cake. I think I have found a new passion for cakes!
