Hello Kitty Birthday Cake
This cake was made for a little girl turning 4. It was an 11x15 vanilla cake, iced with vanilla butter cream. The base coat was a light pink, and then darker pink for the shell border. I am not good at smoothing butter cream, but I think I did pretty well on it. The decor. on top is all made from fondant. Glitter was also sprinkled on top, although you can't really see it in the photos. The birthday girl loved it, along with the Hello Kitty cookies I made, too!!

Chanel Purse And Shoe Cake
This cake was made for my mom for Mother's Day. It was my first time ever to do a purse, shoes, or shoe box. It was a learning experience. From start to finish, it was all done in less than 24 hours. I know next time I will need to allow things to dry longer. However, I wanted to get it done for Mother's Day. For my first attempt at these things, I think it turned out ok. The shoe box is the cake part. The purse is made from rice krispie treats. Everything is fondant or gum paste. I have a set of Funky letter Tappits that I tried using to spell out my message, but I could never get them to work correctly, so I had to comprimise with my hand written message.

Ducky And Pink Polka Dots Cake
This cake was made for a baby shower. It is an 8 inch, 3 layer vanilla with vanilla butter cream, covered with fondant. Polka dots and bubbles are fondant. The bubbles are painted with a glaze to give the realistic look. I sculpted the ducky on top with rice krispie treats, then covered with fondant. It was a lot of fun to make and was a BIG hit!! I also made the cupcakes that are in the 3rd photo.

Easter Cupcakes
Made these cupcakes for Easter this year. This was my first time to ever ice cupcakes using a big star tip to make the swirl and I think they turned out nice! The decorations on top were cut out of fondant, let dry, then drew on the faces/body parts with edible markers, then stuck them in the buttercream.

Snowman Cake
Made this cake at Christmas. Bottom tier 10", top tier 6". All covered in fondant. Snowmen and trees were a mixture of fondant and gum paste. Snowflakes were all gum paste. Got my idea from others very similar to this on CC. The only thing I don't like is how big the eyes turned out on the snowmen.
